Traffic shaping and bufferbloat mitigation can make the Internet better for everyone - especially in the developing world. LibreQoS started with Linux "tc" and CAKE at 1 gigabit/s on a good day. eBPF, Rust and a lot of effort brings ISP-scale traffic shaping to 100 gigabits/s and beyond. We'll discuss the journey and the technical hurdles required to handle traffic at scale.
